Buttons and lists
Instead of asking you to type, the service can send ready-made options. They arrive in two forms.
Buttons
Section titled “Buttons”They appear right below the message, side by side. Tap one to answer: the chosen option enters the conversation as a message from you and the service moves on from there.
Option list
Section titled “Option list”When there are many alternatives, a button arrives that opens a list. The list may be split into sections, each option with a title and sometimes a description. Choosing an item closes the list and sends the answer.
What to expect
Section titled “What to expect”- Only one option can be chosen per message.
- After choosing, the buttons of that message stop responding — the conversation has moved on.
- The option texts are defined by the service, so they vary from company to company.
- If none of the options fits, keep typing normally: depending on the flow, the service accepts free text or repeats the options.
