Sending messages
Write and send
Section titled “Write and send”Write in the Message field and send. The service reply appears in the conversation as soon as it is processed — it may be text, a file, a map, or a question with options for you to choose from.
Emojis
Section titled “Emojis”The Emoji button opens the picker, with a Search emoji field to find one quickly by name. The emoji is inserted where the cursor is.

Replying to a message
Section titled “Replying to a message”Every message has a Reply button (↩). When you use it, the chosen message appears above the
input field as a quote and travels with whatever you send next. This works for text, attachments and
audio.
To drop it, close the quote before sending.

What else appears in the conversation
Section titled “What else appears in the conversation”| Element | What it is |
|---|---|
| Link preview | When a message contains a web address, the chat shows the page title, description and image. |
| Contact card | A contact shared by the service. Opening it shows Phones, Emails and Addresses, with an Open in Maps option. |
| Reaction | An emoji the other side placed on a message, displayed next to it. |
| Buttons and lists | Reply options sent by the service. See Buttons and lists. |
When the message does not go through
Section titled “When the message does not go through”A message marked Error was not delivered: check your connection and send it again. A message marked Ignored was delivered, but the service did not take it into account — usually because something else was expected at that point, such as choosing an option.
