Sending a location
Section titled “Sending a location”Use Attach file → Location. The map opens and the chat tries to find where you are, showing Getting your location…. From there:
- use Search address… to look up an address by name;
- tap the map to pick another point — the chat confirms with Location selected.;
- confirm with Send location, or give up with Cancel.
The first time, the browser asks for location permission.
When the map cannot find you
Section titled “When the map cannot find you”The chat does not get stuck: it centers the map on a starting point defined by the company and tells you why. You can still search or pick the point manually.

| Location permission was denied. | The browser is blocking location for this address. |
| Location requires a secure connection. | The chat was opened through an address without HTTPS. |
| We couldn’t determine your location. | Location services off or no signal. |
| Getting your location took too long. | Unstable connection. Try again. |
| Your browser does not support location services. | Old browser, or the feature is disabled. |
Locations you receive
Section titled “Locations you receive”A location sent by the service appears as a map thumbnail. Tapping it opens a larger map, with Open in Google Maps to continue navigating outside the chat.
If the option is missing
Section titled “If the option is missing”The Location item only exists when the feature is enabled in the company environment. If it is not in the attachment menu, maps were not enabled there — contact support.
